Recommended Grade Levels: 9-12

Foundations of Physical Fitness, by Joel Simeon Paul Hayes, introduces students not only to the importance of incorporating exercise into one’s lifestyle, but lays the groundwork for doing so in a safe manner. 

The class will cover the following topics:

  • Different Types of Fitness
  • Progressive Overload
  • Compound Exercises vs Isolation Exercises
  • Form is King
  • Cardiovascular Exercise
  • Stretching and Mobility
  • Real Fitness vs Fake Fitness
  • Fit for Service
Class will be 1/2 PE credit.

Please make sure you have shorts/t-shirt and tennis shoes for class

$100 per semester + $10 copy & supply fee per semester (payable to instructor on 1st day of class)
